The specially adapted bend enables particularly gentle detachment of the dura during burr hole openings, while also offering optimal applicability for standard craniotomies. The roughened handle in the center of the dissector allows a secure holding position by the hand without slipping during use, two differently angled working ends can be applied according to the anatomical needs.
